Pilates is a method of low-impact training designed to strengthen your body, improve your balance, mobility and flexibility, whilst teaching you better body awareness. 

At GAiN Physical Health our focus is on providing 1:1 training, using classical Pilates equipment including the Reformer, Tower and Chair.

What can you expect?

If you’re new to Pilates your first session will include a movement assessment in which we will introduce you to the principles of Pilates and the equipment.

We’ll tailor a program specifically for you and as you progress we’ll make adjustments, ensuring you always feel challenged. If you have consulted with Tony or Marcus, with your consent we will communicate with them to get their input on what is best for your rehabilitation or introduction back to exercise.

1:1 sessions are 50 or 30 minutes and taught in our private studio.

Did you know that Pilates is named after its creator, Joseph Pilates? Joseph developed the exercise method in the 1920s after recognizing that the demands of ‘modern life’ were taking its toll on our health and physical fitness.
